Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stay With My Pet website, web application, and related services (collectively, “the Service”), operated by Lareflexion OÜ, registry code 16757645 (“Stay With My Pet”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the Service, you (“User”, “you”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  1. User – any individual who registers or uses the Service.
  2. Pet Parent – a User who owns or is responsible for a pet and wishes to find a trusted temporary carer through the Service.
  3. Pet Friend – a User who wishes to care for or spend time with a pet through the Service.
  4. Listing – a profile or post created by a Pet Parent or Pet Friend describing the pet, care preferences, availability, or home environment.
  5. Booking request - a request proposing specific care dates and terms.
  6. Booking – a confirmed arrangement between a Pet Parent and a Pet Friend made through the Service under an active membership.
  7. Membership – a paid access plan that enables messaging, booking requests, booking confirmation, and other membership-only features for a defined billing period.
  8. One-Time Booking Membership – a non-recurring, single-use paid-access option linked to a single booking.
  9. Content – any text, photos, videos, messages, or other materials uploaded, submitted, or posted on the Service by Users.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Stay With My Pet is a community-based digital platform that facilitates connections between Pet Parents and Pet Friends.

We do not provide pet care services ourselves, do not supervise care, and are not a party to any care arrangement between Users.

Users do not pay each other; all payments are made to the platform for access and related benefits.

3. Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
  2. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
  3. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and up to date.

4. Account Registration

  1. You may register as a Pet Parent, Pet Friend, or both.
  2. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  3. You agree not to share your account or impersonate another person.
  4. If you suspect unauthorised access, you must notify us immediately.

5. Memberships, Listings and Bookings

5.1 Free access

  1. You may use the Service for free to:
  2. create an account,
  3. create Listings, and
  4. browse profiles.

5.2 Membership-only features

  1. An active Membership is required to:
  2. send and receive messages,
  3. send or accept booking requests,
  4. confirm bookings, and
  5. leave or receive reviews.

5.3 Membership types

  1. Both Pet Parents and Pet Friends pay to the platform — fees differ depending on the subscription type and role.
  2. No payments or compensation may take place directly between Users.
  3.  Any exchange of money or benefits outside the platform violates these Terms and may result in account suspension or termination.
  4. A Booking becomes confirmed once both parties agree via the platform.
  5.  Users are expected to communicate clearly, respect agreed times and conditions, and prioritise the wellbeing of the animal above all else.

6. Pet Parent Responsibilities

Pet Parents must:

  1. Provide accurate and complete information about the pet, including behaviour, health, dietary needs, and vaccination status.
  2. Supply all necessary items for the care period (e.g. food, leash, bedding, medication).
  3. Choose Pet Friends responsibly, based on verified profiles and mutual understanding.
  4. Refrain from leaving pets with users who do not meet care requirements or platform standards.
  5. Ensure compliance with animal welfare and legal regulations at all times.

7. Pet Friend Responsibilities

Pet Friends must:

  1. Provide a safe, comfortable, and caring environment for the pet.
  2. Follow all care instructions given by the Pet Parent.
  3. Never leave the pet unattended for extended periods or place it in unsafe situations.
  4. Notify the Pet Parent and Stay With My Pet immediately in case of illness, injury, or emergency involving the pet.
  5. Use the Service responsibly and for genuine companionship purposes — not for profit or commercial gain.

8. Platform Fees and Refunds

  1. All payments are made securely through the platform’s designated payment system.
  2. Fees are non-refundable once a subscription period begins, except where required by law.
  3. Users are responsible for ensuring that their payment information is current and valid.
  4. Stay With My Pet may adjust fees, subscription plans, or benefits with prior notice.

9. Animal Wellbeing and Safety

  1. Animal wellbeing is the foundation of the Stay With My Pet community.
  2. Users agree to act in the best interest of the pet at all times.
  3. The platform reserves the right to suspend or remove Users who display neglectful, unsafe, or unethical behaviour toward animals.
  4. Any incidents, injuries, or welfare concerns must be reported immediately to the platform team.

10. User Content and Reviews

  1. Users may post reviews and photos following a booking.
  2. Content must be truthful, respectful, and free of defamatory, misleading, or offensive language.
  3. Stay With My Pet reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or harms the community’s trust.
  4. By posting content, you grant Stay With My Pet a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use such material for platform-related purposes (e.g. profile display, promotion, analytics).

11. Platform Role and Liability

  1. Stay With My Pet acts solely as a facilitator of connections between Users.
  2. We do not own, control, or directly supervise pets, and we are not party to any agreement between Users.
  3. While we strive to ensure a safe experience, we cannot guarantee the behaviour of any User or pet.
  4. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stay With My Pet is not liable for:
  5. injury, loss, or damage to pets or property arising from interactions between Users;
  6. indirect or consequential damages;
  7. any loss resulting from inaccurate information provided by Users.
  8. Our total liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by the User during the preceding 12 months.

12. Termination and Suspension

  1. We may suspend or terminate accounts if:
  2. these Terms are violated;
  3. User behaviour endangers animals or other Users;
  4. fraudulent or abusive activity occurs.
  5. Users may cancel their subscription at any time; however, refunds will not apply to unused periods except where legally required.

13. Intellectual Property

  1. All platform content, trademarks, and design elements are owned by Stay With My Pet or its licensors.
  2. Users may not copy, distribute, or modify platform materials without prior written consent.

14. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available separately on our website. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Policy.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

 Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

 If unresolved, they will be referred to the competent courts of Estonia.
